The only person in our lives with whom our bond would always be greater than any relation in this world – Mother. It’s so amazing how our unsaid words and implicit emotions are perceived well by our Mothers. I personally never ever realized how difficult a pregnancy is until I got to hear from my friend who that time was carrying her child. I used to keep wondering at so many processes and changes that happen in a female body owing to this. A little more research left me speechless. I was dumbstruck and simply couldn’t imagine the trauma and pain our Mothers would have probably gone through during our births. Nevertheless, our Mothers probably never ever made us even realize their pain because of carrying us. In fact, they embraced it. And that’s why Motherhood is simply way above everything. This simple truth is so much taken for granted these days that we hardly ever realize.

Well, when it comes to Mothers, I believe everyday is special. Dedicating each day of our lives to our Mothers would simply be never enough. To me, they are the strongest fighters and the most perseverant beings.

I simply do not have words for you as I believe any verbiage would fall short of my feelings for you. Eventually after all these years, I now see myself very much onto your lines. You always gave us the best you could do and in fact, always more than we ever wished for. I might have my own specific regrets in life, but that would not lessen my love for you. To me, you are the most selfless person in this world. At times, I see reflections of you in myself and then understand why you used to do some specific things. Even in my most trying times, you are the first person I long to be with. Being with you used to keep my fears at bay and now that I have learnt to face them well in this real world. I know I have not done enough for you and I cannot even in my future birth(s). But yes, my life was, is and would always be dedicated to you. It’s all because of your upbringing towards what I am today – an independent, responsible and working professional.

You always have had so much to offer – your experiences, stories from your childhood, knowledge accumulated over the years, efficiency at handling myriad people around and most importantly, managing and running the household. I have now come to terms to the reality that Motherhood is the most underrated, underestimated and unrewarding job in this universe. Yet, you do it so elegantly.

I have been crazy at times during several stages of my life. I just want to apologize for all my foolishness then. I still regret making those mistakes. You have had several complaints till date from me, however, they were never ever above your love.

A simple word as thanks is just not enough. The word ‘Mother’ would always resonate with ‘Eternal and Selfless Love’.. ❤ ❤
