Knowingly or unknowingly,
Life has ways to surprise us,
It’s the people we meet in this journey,
Out of who all, we find our best selves with,
As I stumble upon this interesting picture,
It has brought back memories,
Most of which make me feel only good,
Bring a sense of belonging,
Make me laugh at my own tantrums with you all,
I never knew I was becoming
A part of that family,
Which is not even remotely connected,
All the healthy sarcasms, the bantering,
The mindless talks, the cheering of victories,
The little celebrations we had,
The sense of being there,
Whenever I looked out for,
The unplanned journeys we embarked upon,
We hardly ever realized that
We’re all different yet entwined in a distinctive bond
Of joy, friendship and life.
