Dear Past, Present and Future Bestie(s),

They say sometimes, dreams are better than what reality is. And you were probably, one of the best of such I know not where to begin. I found you out of nowhere and in the years that flew by I am just left pondering how you all have made my life worth cherishing. May be this is how it is to not even know when friends turn into the best of ones.

I am no good at definitions. As such, my perspective of best friends might differ from yours. Nevertheless, this is to heartfully tell you that I feel really blessed and privileged to have you in my life. My life wouldn’t have been the same. Apart from the usual banters which I am not going to express here, I want to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart for;

• Being there for me always.
• Not becoming strangers even if we don’t talk for months at a stretch.
• Listening to all my chatter and ramblings, even if they hardly made any sense.
• Uplifting me whenever I needed that shoulder.
• Sharing those talks which wouldn’t be so exciting if it were somebody else.
• Letting me my own self, in this world of counterfeiting.
• Helping me out when I struggled to get through.
• Laughing at me when I was at my disastrous self.
• Being silly, real and grounded.
• Bearing my tantrums and trauma.
• Being the family which we all crave for.
