Dear ‘My’ Crush,

They say sometimes, dreams are better than what reality is. And you were probably, one of the best of such dreams of mine. As I look back, you appeared all of a sudden in my life, out of nowhere. As days passed by, the picture of you in my mind and then in my heart only grew dearer. You have always been the charm I was looking elsewhere. I could easily spot you in the crowd no matter where you were. Astonished as much I was, yours was the face I used to unintentionally see every where, only to correct myself upfront.

I remember I used to become somebody else when you were around. The bout of nervousness was something I had not felt before. It was as if I could stand there and keep listening to what all you had to say. I was so impressed with the warmth you spread around, along with that infectious smile of yours. The kindness you keep showering over everyone around made me introspect mine, inspired and changed me for good.

We were probably meant to cross paths only to remain relatively unknown to each other’s existence.

No matter what, you were a pleasant memory and a rare instant cheer.
