About The Book

I happened to get to know about this book by being a part of the New India Authors Club [NIA Club], which is where I got to know Namita. I found the title to be really interesting and had already made up my mind to know what does this book have in store.

Interestingly, ‘It’s Punny, Oops I Mean Funny!’ is a collection of interwoven typical ‘husband-wife’ short stories which are very relatable and would definitely leave you laughing out loud. It’s a light-hearted read which is definitely going to make anyone’s day.

Special Highlights

The author has poured her heart out and written this book with such a zest of mind and all of her heart. But this is definitely going to tickle any reader’s funny bones. The collection of the short stories is so much relatable that one can easy form the imagery in front of our eyes. I literally couldn’t put it down any time sooner. I finished it in a matter of an hour or so, for I was engrossed in it so much. The stories are woven with love and brilliant articulation, that it doesn’t fail to strike a chord with the reader.

It’s a sure shot guarantee that this is going to be a definite good comical read, which we don’t get to witness quite often.

Namita is an Indian author who has a knack of writing stories in the most simplistic way. She is an avid blogger as well who puts her soul into whatever she puts her mind to. I believe that writing stories with the funny elements as the core is not at all an easy task. Nevertheless, Namita does it effortlessly.

Motivation To Read

Needless to say, this book deserves its attention for the comic elements in it which revolves around a married couple. Namita writes in a very simple yet profound way that is so easy to connect to. I was completely engrossed in the book and found myself smiling throughout.

I particularly loved the inclusion of the carefully chosen liners on couples / marriage, which has been no less than cherry on the top.

Ending Note

I just could not put it down from the moment I picked it up.  It’s a small, cute collection and written in a simple yet in a way that directly connects with any reader. I get a feeling that even the non-readers would love it too. I loved it thoroughly and had a good time reading it.
